AF SLEEVES

AF SLEEVES are preformed intumescent sleeves which protect combustible plastic pipe penetrations. AF SLEEVES are made of a material with a high thermo-expansion power which, when heated, guarantee the pipe sealing. AF SLEEVES material, when expanded, can block fumes and flames, and its thermal insulation offers class EI 60/EI 120/EI 180 fire protection.

AF SLEEVES have the same use as the AF COLLAR. The choice between one product and another depends on whether the fire protection can be placed inside the horizontal and vertical combustible pipe penetrations. The use of AF SLEEVES is appropriate if the structure is solid and has the necessary support to develop the internal expansion. If this is impossible, the use of AF COLLAR is recommended as an alternative.

AF SLEEVES are available for the most common pipe diameters on the market as shown in the list.

APPLICATION METHOD:

SPECIFICATIONS

Supply and application of the AF SLEEVES firestop sleeve. It contains the Firefill 50 intumescent material, size 50x4 mm, placed in pre- packed polyethylene bags providing up to EI 180 protection for wall and floor combustible pipe penetrations.
