AF SEAL W

AF SEAL W is a water-based fireproof sealant that guarantees a perfect seal against smoke and flame. It has a good permanent elasticity, absorbs the structural movements and it can be over-painted 24 hours after application.

AF SEAL W is used for fireproof sealing of wall and ceiling joints. It is suitable for application between elements with different thermal expansions, for sealing doors and for smoothing and gluing rock wool AF PANEL.

APPLICATION METHOD

Ready-to-use thixotropic paste Spread with a spatula.

 

IN EXPANSION JOINTS

  1. insert a "Filtene" polyurethane cord to limit the filling area;
  2. insert the cartridge nozzle in the joint and extrude the sealant with the spray gun;
  3. finish the surface using a spatula.

 

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Buckets of 6, 12.5 and 20 kg to be applied with a spatula. Cartridges of 300 cc (20 cartridges/box).

Keep the product at a temperature between 5ºC and +40ºC. In such conditions, the product remains unaltered for nine months.

 

SPECIFICATIONS

Supply and application of high viscosity, water-based AF SEAL W acrylic sealant, which has a specific weight of 1.40 kg/litre ± 0.1, for a protection up to EI 180 of cracks, joints and wall and floor electrical cable penetrations.

 

OTHER CERTIFIED APPLICATIONS

  • EI 180 for sealing formwork openings in concrete walls up to 38 mm maximum diameter;
  • EI 180 on floors, to seal electrical cable penetrations for 50 mm minimum depth.
