SAFEDOOR bulletproof shutter, consists of double steel laths, 1.0mm thick, with a cross section, total thickness of 30 mm. The laths are covered (internal and external) by a special alloy providing bulletproof shield.
FB6 test missiles:
a) diameter 5.56 x 45 type FJ / PB / SCP1 (SS 109) with a speed of 950 m / sec,
b) diameter 7.62 x 51 type FJ / PB / SC (NATO Ball) with speed 830 m / sec,
FB5 test missiles:
a) diameter 5.56 x 45 type FJ / PB / SCP1 (SS 109) with a speed of 950 m / sec
In case that the shutter guides or the shutter’s coil shaft box are inside the exposed zone, these can also be protected by a bulletproof shielding.
For the winding shaft and the motor, a special strength study is required, because of the shutter’s weight. The nominal weight of the FB6 and FB5 shutter, is 130Kg / m2 and 100Kg / m2 respectively.
It is delivered painted, with 2 coats of anti-rust paint or with electrostatic paint in RAL.
